At Dulin Church, we believe we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus by loving our neighbors, serving others, and helping meet the needs of those around us.

Our Blessing Box Ministry provides food and essential items for individuals and families who may be facing a difficult season. Through the generosity of our church family and community, we are able to offer practical help while sharing the love, compassion, and hope of Christ.

The Blessing Box is available to anyone in need, offering a simple and welcoming way to receive help with dignity and without judgment. Our prayer is that every person who visits the box not only finds something to meet a physical need, but is also reminded that God sees them, loves them, and cares deeply for them.

Why We Serve

Jesus calls us to care for those in need and to show His love through our actions.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.”
— Matthew 25:35

We are also reminded to walk alongside one another and help carry life’s burdens.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
— Galatians 6:2

Through the Blessing Box Ministry, we hope to live out these Scriptures in a practical way by providing food, offering encouragement, and reminding our neighbors that they are cared for by both their community and by God.

Even the smallest act of generosity can become an opportunity to share the love of Jesus and bring hope to someone who needs it.

Take what you need. Give what you can. Share the love of Jesus.

How You Can Help

There are many simple ways you can be part of the Blessing Box Ministry and help us share the love of Jesus with our community.

You can help by donating nonperishable food, easy-to-prepare meals, snacks, and other essential items such as personal hygiene and baby items to keep the Blessing Box stocked and ready for anyone who may need it.

Some of the most helpful items include:

  • Canned soups, chili, pasta, tuna, and chicken
  • Peanut butter
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Ramen and other easy meals
  • Breakfast bars and cereal
  • Rice and pasta
  • Crackers, granola bars, and snacks
  • Shelf-stable drinks and pantry staples
  • Kleenex
  • Toothpaste
  • Paper towels
  • Baby wipes
  • Diapers

You can also support this ministry through prayer. Pray for the individuals and families who visit the Blessing Box, that their needs will be met and that they will experience the love, peace, and hope of Christ.

“Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
— Hebrews 13:16

Whether you give one item or help fill the entire box, every gift matters. Together, we can serve our neighbors, meet practical needs, and show our community what the love of Jesus looks like in action.

Give generously. Pray faithfully. Love like Jesus.
